What Lulu keeps
Lulu stores the account details needed to sign you in, your native language, the languages and levels you are learning, your reading settings, the stories prepared for you, the words and phrases you look up, vocabulary review history, completion history, and difficulty feedback. This lets your reading experience stay private, personal, and consistent between visits.
Services Lulu relies on
Google may process information when you choose Google sign-in on the web. Apple processes the credential you use for native sign-in and delivers reading reminders through APNs when you enable notifications. Resend delivers invitations and magic links. OpenAI helps find and adapt news into learning stories and create their illustrations. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms.
How your information is used
Your data is used only to run and improve Lulu. It is not sold, and Lulu does not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.
Your choices
You can change reading preferences in settings. The native app can permanently delete your account immediately after Apple reauthentication; this removes your profile, tracks, stories, vocabulary, device registrations, authentication accounts, and sessions. You can also ask to see or correct your data by contacting Lulu's operator; web invitees may reply to the person who sent their invitation.
